Greg Syrup, MBA
Founding Partner
After an apprenticeship with the student managed venture fund, Dakota Venture Group, Greg founded 701 Fund in 2015 with the support of local and regional entrepreneurs. Over the past decade, he has spent his time working with startups across the region and cultivating relationships with like-minded investors. He has a professional background as a business advisor working with various entrepreneur centers and SBA partners to support small businesses. He currently serves on the Board of two non-profit organizations. He is an adjunct instructor within the Middleton School of Entrepreneurship & Management at the University of North Dakota. Greg is a native of Grand Forks, ND and enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family.
Heather McDougall
Entrepreneur in Residence
Heather founded Bogobrush alongside her brother John. Since then, she has taken the business to international markets and in the process has developed a depth of experience in creating sustainable products, as well as developing branding and positioning for startups. Heather is a native of Jamestown, ND and enjoys spending time Traveling.
